Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): With the theme ‘Pursuit of Excellence’, the Dimapur District Sumi Badminton Association (DDSBA) will host the 5th All Sumi Badminton Championship at the DDBA Indoor Badminton Stadium in Nagarjan, Dimapur on October 5 and 6. The two day championship will have seven categories and is open to all Sumi Badminton enthusiasts. A single player will be allowed to compete in three different categories at the most, a press release from the DDSBA informed. The Organising Committee has informed all participating teams that a complimentary Tee-shirt with DDSBA logo and imprints will be given to all players. A total prize money of Rs. 1,75,000 shall be given to winners and runners-up in seven categories. Players are directed to participate in the tournament in proper Badminton attire and non-marking sole shoes.
