ANCSU appeals not to delay declaration of result

Kohima: In continuation of the years’ appeal made to the Nagaland University, the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has once again drawn the attention of the University and examination section related to the declaration of result.

ANCSU, the Union representing the voice of college students of Nagaland in an appeal addressed to the Vice Chancellor, NU said that it has become an annual feature of university to declare late the examination result, which has cause a loss of one academic year for students desiring to go out of Nagaland for further/higher studies.

 “As per the UGC norms, result has to be declared in time. This will not only benefit the students but also render smooth completion of annual academic calendar,” ANCSU president Tsukjem Longkumer stated in the appeal note while appealing the VC to expedite the result declaration as per into the UGC guidelines.

“Any delay in declaring result will not be tolerated and will invite discontent of the students’ community falling which the union would take its own course of action,” the Union clearly stated in the appeal.

Further, ANCSU while drawing attention of the college authorities on the examined answer script of the under-graduate student dispatch by the Nagaland University said that they should take the responsibility of checking the scripts within the stipulated time given by the Nagaland University Examination Section.  “It will benefit the students in their pursuance for further studies and also timely completion of the academic calendar course,” the Union added.
It also stated that ANCSU will extend fullest cooperation and at the same time assert that it will not compromise any length in the event of late declaration of result.
