Kohima, January 8 (MExN): Another major jungle fire call was received at 3:51pm at 4th NAP Camp, Thizama, Kohima on January 7. According to the F&ES press release, standby fire team from Fire Station Kohima North along with fire tenders, sufficient equipment and fire personnel were pressed into action.
Timely response from the fire team led by Duty Commander SI Chumbemo Patton prevented fire from further spreading to the surrounding areas, the release informed. It also added that there was no casualty and the cause of the fire is unknown.
