Mokokchung, April 23 (MExN): Ao Senden, the apex Ao Naga organisation, has listed some “immediate facility requirement” at COVID-19 Hospital Mokokchung to Nagaland Health & Family Welfare Minister.
In a letter to the Minister on April 22, the Senden, while appreciating the state Government’s initiative in the establishment of various requisite facilities and medical amenities throughout the state, pointed out that some facilities related to COVID-19 in the district hospital.
The COVID-19 Hospital Mokokchung covers the districts of Tuensang, Longleng, Zunheboto and parts of Wokha district apart from Mokokchung district, it added.
In this regard, the letter appended by Ao Senden President Chubawati Longchar and Secretary Imtipokyim, listed the following as immediate requirement.
• 10 f Ventilators
• 3 portable X-Ray machines
• 25 fumigation machines
• 10 cardiac monitor;
• 100 Oxygen cylinders (complete set)
• 10 Oxygen cylinder (jumbo)
• 20 Thermal scanner
• 100 Oxygen masks (adults)
• 50 Oxygen masks (child) and
• one fully equipped ambulance.
