ASHA workers under Zunheboto district reaching the grassroot and sensitizing on the importance of hand washing. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, ASHA workers have been assigned the task of containing local transmission of the coronavirus. They have been directed by different state governments to educate people about the virus, check for symptoms, and provide advice on precautions to be taken in dealing with COVID-19.
