Assam Rifles unit deployed in Kohima under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North), in an endeavour to reach out and to express solidarity with widows and Veer Naris, distributed basic essentials in order to mitigate their hardship amid the lockdown. The beneficiaries while being assisted with the basic rations and sanitation items were also advised to abide by the advisories issued by the State government on COVID-19.
