Sanis, January 23 (MExN): As part of the ongoing Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) week, an awareness rally cum oath taking ceremony and signature campaign was organized at Sanis town on January 22, jointly by the District Administration, Sanis and Department of Social Welfare.
Ralamo Jungi, CDPO Sanis chaired the programme. The keynote address was delivered by Zubenthung Kithan, ADC Sanis. Rev. Fr. Jose Sebastian, Principal, St. Paul School Sanis and Emilo Kikon, Youth Director, Hajang Baptist church were the resource persons. Altogether 300 participants attended the programme.
EAC Sanis, James Renbi Kikon in a press release stated that earlier, a weeklong BBBP celebration was launched on January 21 at the meeting of the Sanis Block Task Force held at DB’s court Sanis. The planned activities for the celebration of BBBP week was also released at the meeting.
