The campaign saw the participation of the district's entire medical workforce across 80 health units, achieving significant outreach in immunization and disease screening, a health department official said.

According to a press release, 605 children under one year, 293 children above one year, 314 adolescents, and 126 pregnant women were immunized during the drive.

The initiative also focused on screening for non-communicable and communicable diseases, identifying 1,594 cases of hypertension and 903 cases of diabetes. Furthermore, 1,299 screenings for malaria and 370 for tuberculosis were conducted, alongside 661 antenatal check-ups, the official said.

Six major health facilities, including the District Hospital and several Community and Primary Health Centres, hosted specialist camps with gynecologists, pediatricians, and other experts. The remaining units organized regular health camps offering essential services, counseling, and awareness sessions.

Despite initial challenges like “adverse weather and short notice” from the Government of India, the district health staff demonstrated resilience and efficiency in meeting the campaign's objectives, the release added.
