DIMAPUR, APRIL 15 (MExN): The Dimapur Bongs started distributing food items from April 26 alongwith other organisations like Dimapur Bengali Samaj, Sikh SamajDimapur and other various community leaders, feeding hundreds of people with all necessary precautions and safety measures.
A press release from the Dimapur Bongs informed that, under the directives and guidance of the District Administration Dimapur, the organizations has started to work at the Community Kitchen at DimapurKalibari as allotted by the administration.
In the community kitchen all the different Bengali organisations worked together to distribute food from April 1 to April 14.
“Collectively we have received huge cooperation and support towards this noble task from various individuals, organisations in terms of kinds and cash. A heartfelt appreciation to all the individuals and organisations for their respective contributions,” it added. It further thanked the district administration and the entire team and also appreciate all who stood by them.
