Kohima, December 21 (MExN): The 75th anniversary celebration of Chakhesang tribe will take place on January 10 at Phek town under the aegis of Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) with the theme ‘Recognize, Celebrate and Inspire.’
Nagaland Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu will be the chief host. MP (Rajya Sabha) KG Kenye will be the speaker of the celebration and will speak on ‘One vision, One identity, One community.’ MLA Dr Chotisuh Sazo and MLA Kezhienyi Khalo will also exhort the gathering.
The programme will chaired by Kekhwengulo Lea while welcome address will be delivered by MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu. CPO president Mikha Kenye will deliver presidential address. Act of blessings and prayer of thanksgiving will be led by Rev Dr VK Nuh and Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho respectively.
Greetings will be shared by President Angami Public Organization, President Sumi Hoho and President Pochury Hoho.
All Chakhesang villages have been directed to send five delegates each to the celebration. The CPO stated that that strict COVID-19 SOPs will be followed.
