Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): A new book titled ‘Chillu Jalakam’ written by Fr Dr PS Varghese was released at Kerala Samajam, Dimapur on December 22.
Fr Dr PS Varghese is presently serving as Vicar of MGOS Church, Dimapur and Principal of MGM College, Dimapur.
The book release programme was chaired by Kerala Samajam Dimapur (KSD), President, Dr N Kumar and KSD Advisor, Jose VA welcomed the guests. HPH Publisher, Dr Lanusngla Tzudir gave the first copy of the book to KSD President and released the book in the presence of Malayalees of Dimapur.
The book, which is a collection of 50 Malayalam poems is dedicated his research guide, late Dr Charles P Alexander, former Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University, Nagaland. Under the supervision of late Dr Charles, Fr Dr PS Varghese has completed PhD in Management (Interdisciplinary in Education) on the topic ‘Holistic Education: A Gandhian Perspective.’
During the function, Dr CP Alexander Memorial Scholarship for Higher Studies was given to three meritorious students who are studying for BA and B.Com.
Later, Fr Dr PS Varghese proposed vote of thanks.
This is the first Malayalam book published by Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur and is available in all leading books stalls of Dimapur and Kohima.
