CHS distributes relief packages amid lockdown

Chümoukedima, April 26 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Hindu Society (CHS) with the active support from Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland has taken the various initiatives since the lockdown, adhering strictly to the guidelines and safety measures, a press release informed. 


So far, relief packages have been distributed to 410 families, stranded students (Hostellers), daily wage labourers including the orphanage and rehabilitation centres stretching from Chümoukedima till proper Dimapur town, said the release issued CHS General Secretary Prakash Chetri.


The CHS would continue to strive such service on humanitarian ground under the supervision and guidance of Thejavizo Nakhro, EAC cum Administrator Chümoukedima Town Council  and with the innovative ideas of Pintu M Ghosh, Working President of CHS as long as the lockdown continues, it added.
