Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has called for time of fasting and prayer during this holy week.
The Nagas are going through times faced with the uncertainty over the political solution coupled with the problem of global COVID- 19 pandemic, a press release from CNC said.
“Let all the Nagas young and old, educated and uneducated, rich and poor, employed and unemployed and all the national workers stand before the Lord collectively as a nation and earnestly seek God’s intervention in this extraordinarily difficult situation,” urged the release issued by the CNC General Secretary, Ikato Chishi Swu.
“Let us also like our Lord Jesus individually surrender our lives completely to the will of God our Father, so that, our personal victory can be assured,” he added.
“Let us praise God for the Political Solution that we are about to receive according to His will and also for His assured protection against the prevailing Pandemic disease (COVID-19) because Nagas are “For Christ People,” it added.
