COVID-19 incharge Dimapur visits Niuland sub division CHC

Minister Jacob Zhimomi, COVID-19 incharge Dimapur with CP & DCP (Zone-II), Dimapur visited Niuland sub division CHC. 
 

 

Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): Minister Jacob Zhimomi, COVID-19 incharge Dimapur accompanied by CP & DCP (Zone-II), Dimapur visited Niuland sub division CHC and convened a meeting with CHC Head staff, Administration and GBs. 


During the visit, the Minister’s Press Secretary in a press release stated, Zhimomi assured to bear the expenses of an ambulance which is said to be in a poor condition and also directed to use the same for Akito Village PHC covering Aghunaqa and Khagaboto area. 


Niuland town which shares the border with Assam, the press release alleged, is a “threaten spot with many escape route for immigrants,” and therefore with the initiative of the Minister, IRB personal have been deployed for patrolling the area. 


While stating that the Government will not tolerate any kind of physical assault and discrimination towards non-locals, Zhimomi directed the GBs and village leaders to strictly observed and be responsible in using social media. He asked them not to take the law in their own but report to the police if any foul play is alerted.


Zhimomi also directed CP & DCP (Zone-Il) to conducts inspection to Aghunhqa border area. A sum of rupees 1 lakh from LADF was contributed towards Niuland CHC.
