Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): The 173 CRPF Battalion, Airfield Dimapur, under its Civic Action Program collaborated with the Dimapur District Administration to distribute food packets at DC office complex, Chümoukedima on Sunday.
According to an official press release, the food packets were distributed among the poor and needy people in and around Dimapur city. The Battalion also used jet spray equipment to disinfect the camp area and distributed hand sanitizers, masks, soaps and medicines. The unit also assisted Dimapur Administration by providing trucks for transportation of essential medical items from Dimapur to Kohima.
Further, Commandant Sh. Vishnu Gautam has assured to provide needful assistance till the situation improves, the release stated.
