DBPF appeals to believers

Dimapur, April 17 (MExN): The Dimapur Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship (DBPF) today issued a press statement amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and appealed to “every believer to display more Christ-like nature as we go through this challenging time.”

The DBPF observed that during this extraordinary time, adherence to various medical advices and social distancing was of utmost importance and advised the believers to “cautiously continue to ‘love your neighbors’ as Jesus Christ taught us.”

Especially, considering the plight of the frontline workers (Medical professionals, Police, Administration, etc.), the DBPF reminds everyone to be grateful to them because they are giving up the good moments they could have with their loved ones during this lockdown to protect the populace by containing the virus, the message stated.

Further, “instead of misunderstanding and stigmatizing the frontline workers, whoever is in quarantine or any positive patient, let us learn to be considerate with each other,” it said.
