Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS, has in an order informed all concerned that wholesale medical shops along Christian Literature Center lane, Nyamo Lotha Road (Church Road) will be permitted to open from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon with effect from April 20. The order from DC stated that shops located on the opposite side would remain sealed till further order.
The order also stated that only retailers shops with permit or passes issued by the Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) will be allowed to procure medicine or medical equipments from the medical wholesale shops (no individual customers will be allowed.)
The order further said that the following precautionary measures are to be mandatorily observed:
• To mandatorily keep hand sanitisers or provide facilities for hand washing with soap and water for the public as well as for their own staffs/ workers. Further, the proprietor of the shops and establishments should regularly get the door handles, surfaces and other objects which are frequently touched by people, cleaned and disinfected.
• Sales person, shopkeepers and other persons in contact with high number of people should wear masks and maintain 1 meter distance

Sanitization of LPG cylinders
In order to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS, has directed the Senior Sales Officer of LPG Bottling Plant, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Chümoukedima for ensuring sanitization of all LPG cylinders and the vehicles on LPG distribution on duty for providing door to door delivery services of LPG cylinders to the public. DC Dimapur also directed the officials transporting and distributing cylinders, to mandatorily wear masks and also to maintain social distance.
Permit for availing vegetables
In continuation of DC Dimapur office order issued on April 17, DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all concerned that the permits for availing vegetables from the wholesale market at Super Market will be issued by GB/Chairman of the colony or village concerned as per requirements with immediate effect.
