
DIMAPUR, APRIL 26 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur today issued an order listing the activities which will be allowed with immediate effect in the district.
What’s open?
* Shops for truck repairs along the highway with stipulated minimum distance.
* All shops including shops in residential complex and market complexes EXCEPT shops at multi-brand and single brand malls, outside the limits of municipalities and town councils with 50% strength workers with wearing of masks and social distancing being mandatory.
* All shops including neighborhood shops and stand alone shops; shops in residential complexes within the limits of municipalities and town councils EXCEPT shops in market complex and multi-brand and single brand malls with 50%% strength of workers with wearing of mask and social distancing being mandatory. (The shops shall remain open only from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm)
* In Nyamo Lotha Koad (Church Road) only Medical Shops (Wholesale and Retailer) shall be permitted to operate.
* Wholesale Market of Essential Commodities will continue to operate from designated godowns as per the DC's order dated April 15.
* Wholesale Vegetable Market will continue to operate from Supermarket.
* The Wholesale Medical Market will continue to operate from Sosino Market, MP Road, GS Road and Nyamo Lotha Road (Church Road).
What's closed?
* Vegetable market in Purana Bazar shall remain closed. AIl weekly bazaars to remain closed.
* All shops in New Market, Hong Kong Market, Hazi Park, MP Road, Railway bazaar and vegetable market in Purana Bazaar to remain closed.
* The Containment Zone in Marwari Patty, Murgi Patty and GS Road will continue to remain closed.
* All public transportation including autorickshaw and cab services shall remain prohibited.
* Salons, dine-in restaurants, eateries and departmental stores shall continue to remain closed. However, home deliveries from dine-in restaurants food outlets and delivery of online order of essential commodities shall be permitted.
* The proprietors of the shops and establishments which are allowed to open will make arrangements for keeping hand sanitizer or providing facilities for hand washing with soap and water for the public as well as for their own staff workers. They should also get the door handles, surfaces and other objects which are frequently touched by people to be regularly cleaned and disinfected.
* National COVID-19 directive and standard operating procedure protocol or social distancing must be ensured.
*Any person violating this order will be liable to be proceeded against as per relevant sections of the law.
