Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Anoop Kinchi today informed that wholesale Medical Shops along Christian Literature Center lane, Nyamo Lotha Road (Church Road), Dimapur will be permitted to open from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon with effect from April 20.
The order from the DC stated that shops located on the opposite side would remain sealed till further orders.
The order also stated that only retail medical shops with permit/passes issued by the Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) will be allowed to procure medicine/medical equipment from the medical wholesale shops. No individual customers will be allowed, it said.
The DC also issued a list of precautionary measures to be mandatorily observed by all establishments in the area. The wholesale shops have been directed to mandatorily keep hand sanitizers or provide facilities for hand washing with soap and water for the public as well as for their own staffs/workers. Further, the proprietor of the shops and establishments should regularly get the door handles, surfaces and other objects which are frequently touched by people, cleaned and disinfected.
Sales persons, shopkeepers and other persons in contact with high number of people should wear masks and maintain 1 meter distance, it stated.
