
Dimapur, March 29 (MExN): A poem written by a student of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, Monu Bhagat has been published in Aatish, an international anthology of poems and photographs on different issues prevailing in the world. A press release informed that Monu Bhagat has dedicated the poem to Prodigal’s Home, an NGO in Dimapur for their hard work and contribution to the society. Monu Bhagat started writing when he was 13 years. According to the press release, his writings have been published in many international and state anthologies, magazines, leaflets and newspapers. He has also won the tag of 'Youngest Poet at International Level 2013’. He has also won many medals and certificates for writing and drawings. He is passionate towards acting and hopes to do something in this field soon, the release added.
The young poet is also the founder and managing director of Moons Movement, an online social community in Nagaland which tries to bring awareness on various social issues through many ways and mediums like Newspapers, Magazines, Leaflets, Short Films, etc. Besides awareness, it is also a creative movement which tries to promote all types of artists of every field.

The movement’s first project was “Raise Voice against Crime in Nagaland”. For the next project, it aims to focus on promoting all sorts of talents of the state. Monu also plans to publish an anthology, where writers as well as non-writers of the state and the country can contribute.
