Dr Chotisuh Sazo visits Chozuba, Chetheba, Pfütsero

MLA Dr Chotisuh Sazo recently visited Chozuba, Chetheba and Pfütsero and met administrative officers, doctors, police officers and public leaders to take the stock of preparedness in fighting against COVID-19 in Phek district.


The district administrations have constituted District Task Force, Sub-divisional Task Force and Village Level Task Forces.
Dr. Sazo from 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency said that most of the villages in the district have locked themselves and have manned their entry points with their village volunteers.


Two vehicles from each village are given permits to run around for transportation of necessary items for the villages.
The protection materials provided by Phek district legislators were distributed to all the PHCs.


The Municipal Affairs department has supplied some equipment and materials to the administration and doctors.
Chozuba and Pfütsero have already arranged for isolation rooms and quarantine places.


Dr Sazo informed that 194 students and travelers who have come from outside the state to the district were quarantined. Out of which, 186 have already completed 14 days quarantine and found to be healthy.


Sufficient Petrol/Diesel and Grocery items are available at Chozuba and Pfütsero and have stocks for more than a month. Chozuba is facilitating fuel and grocery items to some portion of Zunheboto district, Dr Sazo added.


According to him, the most required materials includes; sufficient number of PPEs (inner), Upper Layer PPEs, Disposable Hand Gloves, sufficient number of surgical mask, disinfectant chemicals and sprayers and hand sanitizers (hand sanitizers are not available in the market in the district) and incentives for those persons who are on duty at the entry points.


Meanwhile, Dr Sazo expressed sincere thanks to the administration officers, doctors, police officers and their subordinate staffs for their selfless service rendering to the public in the fight against COVID-19.
