DIMAPUR, APRIL 14 (MExN): The Eastern Sumi Students Union (ESSU) has written a letter to the Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom urging him to ensure that hospitals in the State are prepared to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ESSU stated that facilities at various district hospitals lack proper facilities and questioned:“how is the state government prepared to tackle the pandemic virus at this hour, what measures and precautionary measure have been take up to handle the patient in hospitals.”
“While we trust that your government will continue to act in the public interest We also urge you and your government to provide real leadership by enforcing the proper health facilities across the state. Further delays will only mean that more Nagas will suffer. Our state health depends on you,” it added.
