The newly inducted ambulance is expected to improve emergency medical transportation for critically ill patients and enhance healthcare accessibility, particularly in remote areas where timely medical response often remains a challenge.
General Manager, Indian Railway Finance Corporation, Nav Goel attended the programme as the special guest, while Additional Secretary, Department of Finance and Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Government of Nagaland, Vineet Kumar attended as the guest of honour.

Thanking IRFC for financing the project, he said the initiative was aimed at ensuring timely healthcare access for people, particularly during emergencies.
Wokha DC, Mhathung Tsanglao, termed the support timely and said the district hospital had been in urgent need of a fully equipped emergency vehicle. Expressing gratitude to IRFC for extending support through its CSR initiative, he expressed optimism that the ambulance would greatly benefit the people of the district.
