The Indian Railways has invited online applications to fill 1120 vacancies for Sub-Inspectors (SI) under a recruitment drive for Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). Important dates: Last date for submission of online application: June 30. Selection process: A Computer-based Test (CBT) will be conducted to fill 819 vacancies for male and 301 for female candidates. Online CBT will tentatively be held in September and October 2018. Eligibility criteria: Candidates, who have completed their graduation from a recognised university, are eligible. Candidates qualified and securing marks in the merit list (10 times of the category-wise vacancies notified) and in the CBT shall have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV). Physical measurement (height): UR/OBC: 165 cms for males, 157cms for women SC/ST: 160cms for males, 152cms for women For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese and other Categories specified by Govt: 163cms for males, 155cms for women.
