Rendering unconditional service, youth volunteers painted the Capital town of Nagaland with beautiful art works. This work of creativity and taking ownership of caring Kohima town was done by the Kohima Ao Baptist Church under the project ‘Creating Awareness for Restoration of Environment’ (KABA CARE).
The KABA CARE project was made possible with support from different corners. The Naga Blog team rose up to encourage and strengthen the KABA team to go further with the message of care and love. “Your initiative to preserve and protect the little things that we have created, gives us immense joy and more accountable to care for God’s creation no matter what the challenges are,” mentions KABA CARE Ministry Media Committee.
With the support from such right minded people, KABA CARE is all set to proceed to Mokokchung on a three day mission with the same message of brotherly care and sharing God’s love. A team of 35 KABA youth members will be in Mokokchung from September 9 under the banner KABA CARE Mokokchung Chapter.
The three day clean environment campaign in Mokokchung town plans to have an action oriented cleanliness drive, painting works at key points of the town, a green concert, and bookmark and car sticker campaign. “We also propose to conduct worship service in Mokokchung town area churches,” the media representative stated in a press release.
On September 10 (Saturday), the KABA CARE team would be organising a Green Marathon from Süngkomen to Imkongmeren Sporting Complex (Public ground) at 6:00 AM. Mokokchung citizens and those interested are invited to participate.
The marathon will be followed by cleanliness drive Süngkomen BOC Area, Main Police Point, Imkongmeren Sporting Complex and Ngati Sewak Gate.
Later, a Green Concert will be held at the Town hall Mokokchung on September 10 at 6:00 pm.
KABA CARE Youth Ministry invites everyone from Mokokchung Town and also from nearby places to participate and experience the joy of coming together for a good cause.
