KAT general meeting held

Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Kohima Ao Telongjem (KAT) held a general meeting on April 9 at Molu Ki Kohima with Toshitsüngba Aier (IPS), IGP (Crime) as the resource person.   Speaking on the theme ‘The Role of Aos in the political and social scenario of Nagas’, the resource person encouraged the Aos to work and stand for a common platform in all aspects of the Naga issue. He also lamented that Aos are lacking behind and called upon the Aos in general to wake up and work for better tomorrow, according to a press release received here.  

Short speeches were also delivered by Rev. M. Asangba, Pastor, KABA, T. Amenba Yaden, Parliamentary Secretary for Industries & Commerce and Treasurer KAT, and T. Imchen, IAS (Rtd).  During the meeting, new office bearers of KAT for the year 2016-18 were nominated as follows: President - Er. Talitoba, Vice-President - Er. Chiden Yaden, General Secretary - Imsünok Jamir, Asst General Secretary - Moameren Imchen, Treasurers - Impalong Longkümer, Finance Secretary - Sentiyanger Pongen.
