The newly constructed building of Khulazu Basa Baptist Church was dedicated by Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) Executive Secretary, Rev Khrotso Mero at K Basa Village under Phek district on December 18.
Addressing the congregation, Rev Mero, said that the church must be a place of soul saving. It must be a place where the weak find strength, weary find rest, and a house of forgiveness and love, he said. He challenged the people to make the church a loving place and continue to grow in Christ. Further, he called upon the people to lead an honest and sincere life in their respective profession. As Christian, one must obey God and live according to His will, so that others may see the goodness of Christ, he added.
Chokri Area Baptist Church Council chairman Rev Vovotso Theluo, in his greetings called upon the people to build their foundation based on the word of God. Further, he asked the people to shine for Christ everything they do.
The new church building committee chairman Pora Keyho informed that the new building cost around Rs. 1.51 crore.
