
Kohima, April 20 (MExN): Kohima Deputy Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie today notified a set of directives to be followed in Kohima in order to encourage social distancing and minimize gathering of public in the markets.
The notification, which comes into immediate effect, stated that no street vending will be allowed in the state capital.
Only the wholesale shops selling perishable goods will be allowed to open at the following locations- BOC, Super Market and High School on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 7:00 am to 2:00 pm along with all other exempted categories. No retail sale will be allowed in these locations, it said.
Further, all colony retailers have been directed to collect the perishable goods for retailing in their respective colonies from the mentioned locations according to the given schedule.
