Dimapur, December 30 (MExN): The Lükhüyimi Kiphimi Kükhakulu (LKK) celebrated its golden jubilee with the theme ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ with Rev Hukügha Jimomi, Executive Secretary, SBAK, Nito Mount from December 28 to 30.
LKK in a press release stated that while expounding the theme, the Reverend related the story of the Israelites, of how they defied God’s commandment and suffered; and King David, who overcame his enemies through his undying faithfulness towards God. He prayed for and blessed the LKK, students and entire village for a bright future and a challenge for renewing their faithfulness.
Eastern Sümi Students’ Union (ESSU), President, Hokato Yeputhomi delivered greetings and encouraged the students to earnestly pursue their studies.
Earlier, MLA and Advisor to GoN, Pükhayi Sümi graced the occasion as chief guest. He appreciated the advancement in education and in particular, the increase in the number of students in the higher level of education. He encouraged the students to try for entrepreneurship instead of only looking forward to government jobs.
