71 years old Mhonshio Odyuo of New Riphyim village under Wokha district who went missing since June 22 was found alive near Emvütchü River at 9:20 am on Tuesday. According to sources, he was last seen at Old Riphyim village.
A team including Home Guards, Civil Defence, SDRF led the search operation and continued the operation along with villagers from New and Old Riphyim which led to the discovery of the missing person. The intensive search concluded on the fourth day with Odyuo's discovery in the area between Old and New Riphyim. Following his safe recovery, he was promptly reunited with his family.
