While presenting the basic essentials of ‘The Missing Link’ at the launch, the author stated that all the important events that follow one after another during the most crucial Naga political history are given in the book.

Imkongmeren for leaving us a treasure of untold stories of the Naga political struggle, brought alive by the author. I hope, for the author, this would not be his last book and we look forward to more works from him and it is also an encouragement to the younger generation to hear stories from the author.”

Tzudir also commented that Nagas are going through a process of unlearning "our" history and this book serves as a strong connective to relearn about "our" past history which "we" are presently living, consciously or unconsciously.

The book also unravels "our" history in new light offering insights and perspectives though various aspects of "our" political journey, she opined, adding one of the most significant aspects of the book is the critique style of writing by the author.   Representatives from various civil organizations, women representatives, students, and the media were present at the launch. A short interaction was also held, wherein the audience asked questions, critiqued, and appreciated the author for his writing efforts.

The book is touted to be a strong connective which unravels Naga history in a new style, mainly because of the significant aspect of the author in his critique style of writing.
