Mon, April 19 (MExN): The Mon District Administration will be deploying two mobile Automated Teller Machines (ATM) starting April 20 in order to reduce long queues of customers at ATMS and Banks while withdrawing cash.


According to a circular issued by Mon Deputy Commissioner Thavaseelan K, a mobile ATM service operated by Abraham, Representative of Common Service Point, will facilitate withdrawals as well as deposits in all the wards of Mon town. 


The schedule for this mobile ATM is as follows: April 20- Zuklom and Tanlao wards; April 21- Shamnyu and Wagjen wards; April 22- Thamnan and Walo wards; April 23- Chingai and Techahan wards; April 24- Jahjon and Tompang wards; and April 25- Shantham wards.

Meanwhile, another mobile ATM operated by A Epha, a Business Correspondent of IndusInd Bank (Spice Money Ltd.) will also cover all 12 wards of Mon town. However, the service will only be for withdrawals and not deposits.


In order to enable service delivery at every ward, the ATM would visit the following wards as per a notified schedule (See table): April 20- Shantham and Tompang wards; April 21- Techahan and Jahjon wards; April 22- Chingai and Thamnan wards; April 23- Walo and Wagiem wards; April 24- Zuklom and Shamnyu wards; and April 25- Tanlao and Papong colony.


Service charges for transactions at the mobile ATM will be as follows: Upto Rs 10000- Rs 20; Between Rs 10000 to Rs 20000- Rs 30; Between Rs 20000 to Rs 30000- Rs 60 and More than Rs 30000- Rs 90.


The service delivery points for both ATMS at every ward will be designated by COVID-19 Ward task Force, who will also be responsible for maintaining social distancing norms and other preventive measures notified by the government.
