The MTBA journal being released during the jubilee programme.
MEDZIPHEMA, DECEMBER 21 (MExN): The Medziphema Town Ao Baptist Church (MTBA) celebrated its golden jubilee under the theme ‘Proclaiming Liberty’ from December 19 to 20.
The Christian Education Ministry made an opening ceremony display for the celebration. Anungba Imsong, Pastor, MTABC welcomed all the invitees, guests and church members for the celebration programme.
Rev Lipok Pongen, Church & Mission Coordinator, ABAM; Rev I Wati Jamir, Pastor, DABA; and Dr Yangermongba, founder President, BCCI, Bangalore, were the main speakers for the jubilee programme.
During the main event programme, Jubilee souvenir was released by Rev Lipok Pongen, Church & Mission Coordinator, ABAM. Short speeches were delivered by President, Ao Senso Telongjem Medziphema, family member of Lt Imtikumzuk, founder of MTABC and by Baptist Church Medziphema Town.
T Imsu Tzudir, Convenor, Jubilee Planning Committee, delivered vote of thanks. A vibrant closing ceremony of Jubilee celebration was displayed by Youth Ministry. Dr Akumla Longchar was the recording secretary of the whole Jubilee programme.
