Dimapur, October 9 (MExN): The NAAC Peer Team comprising of three academicians led by Dr Padmanaban Thiyagarajan, Former Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University as Chairperson, Dr G Ram Reddy, Professor, Department of Political Science, Osmania University Hyderabad as Member Coordinator and Dr Suhasini Arya, Principal, KG Mittal College of Arts & Commerce, Maharashtra visited Dimapur Government College (DGC) on September 29 and 30 for the second cycle of NAAC assessment.
The college Publicity & Media Cell in s a press release stated that some of the activities carried out during the visit were presentations by Head of the Institution, IQAC, Departments and Committees, inspection of College facilities and sites, interaction with Principal, IQAC, HoDs, teachers, non-teaching Staff, DGC Students Council, Alumni Association, and parents.
A meeting was also held with the Director of Higher Education Nagaland, Additional Director and DGC Board of Advisory. A cultural programme was organised in honour of their visit.
During the exit meeting Dr Padmanaban Thiyagarajan, Chairperson, Peer Team shared some key observations and made suggestions for improvement.
