Nagaland: 1415 healthcare workers vaccinated on Day 3

Kohima, January 19 (MExN): 1415 health care workers including doctors, nurses and support staff were vaccinated on January 19 with the Covishield vaccine across all districts in Nagaland. Till date, 2,873 healthcare workers have been vaccinated.

According to an update from State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr, the vaccination was conducted across 36 selected sites including private hospitals. Health care workers from both public and private facilities were vaccinated without any reported adverse events.

All vaccinated healthcare workers will receive the subsequent second dose after 28 days and COVID-19 appropriate behaviors will be strictly maintained even after the vaccination, the SIO informed.
