In line with the resolution adopted by the village, the Langzanger Village Council released three pairs of rabbit in the wild at Mohji Zong on June 18. Thrikyuse, Hd GB and Yanglise, Council chairman along with the villagers and well-wishers who were present informed that the motive behind releasing the rabbits is to promote conservation of wildlife and also beautification of the reserve in the village. The leaders have appealed the surrounding villagers not to hunt these mammals released in the wild. (Morung Photo)
