Nagaland COVID-19 update: 345 samples test negative, results for 59 awaited
KOHIMA, APRIL 19 (MExN): 345 samples have tested negative for COVID-19 as of 6:00pm of April 19.
Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha informed that a total of 404 samples have been sent for testing from the State and results for 59 samples are awaited.
The Home Commissioner meanwhile informed that the doctors and health workers raising apprehensions about the quality of PPEs and medial accessories will have to submit reasons specifying the quality parameters which they feel are not as per the standards recommended in writing to the concerned Controlling Officers.
The Health Department will issue new PPEs and other medical accessories as replacement of all such purported inferior quality materials, he assured.
Further the respective Deputy Commissioners have been directed to collect all such returned PPEs and medical items and keep under their custody until further orders.
