Nagaland COVID-19 update

404 samples negative, results for 30 awaited
DIMAPUR, APRIL 20 (MExN): A total of 404 samples from Nagaland have tested negative for COVID-19 as of 3:00 pm of April 20.
Minister for Planning and Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu informed that 463 samples have been sent for testing from the State, of which results for 30 are awaited.
He informed that till date, the State has received 56,000 PPEs; 2,76,000 triple layer mask; 42,000 N95 masks; 11 ICU ventilators; 9 transport ventilators; 50 CPAP machines; 1,007 B type Oxygen Cylinders; 119 A-Type Nitrous Cylinders; and 54 Jumbo Oxygen Cylinders through various consignments.
The Minister stated that the State Cabinet today reviewed the status of preparedness of the Health Department to combat COVID-19. The district wise reports of the existing health infrastructure were also reviewed. The Cabinet gave directions for further strengthening the medical infrastructure wherever required.
