Nagaland Deputy CM lauds frontline workers

DIMAPUR, APRIL 12 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton today lauded the services of frontline workers and all stakeholders who have been engaged in several works during the current lockdown.


In a press release, issued through the DIPR, Patton said that since the start of the national lockdown to fight against the global COVID-19 pandemic, the State Government along with the frontline workers and all the stakeholders, have been working tirelessly round the clock to contain the spread of the deadly disease in the state. 


Patton thanked God for his “unconditional providence upon the people thus far.” He thanked the selfless services rendered by the medical, police, media personnel, district administration, village councils and numerous NGOs, diners and the public for their remarkable contribution in fight against the pandemic.


He meanwhile appealed to every citizen of the state to adhere to all the guidelines and advisories issued by the government from time to time and not to be complacent upon the report of no positive cases.


The Deputy CM also asked the BJP legislators and party workers to continue their proactive roles in helping the needy during the crisis.
