Nagaland Eves beat Arunachal in BCCI Under ninteen trophy

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 7 (MExN): In the ongoing BCCI Women’s Under-19 One Day trophy for NE & Bihar, being played at Dhanbad, the Nagaland team today defeated Arunachal Pradesh by 8 wickets. With this, Nagaland has won three matches against Manipur, Sikkim & Arunachal, but lost narrowly to Bihar.   The last match is on November 9 against Meghalaya.   Nagaland Captain Elina Muru lost the toss and was asked to field. Batting first, Arunachal Pradesh were all out at 48 in 27.4 overs with M Kalra and K Kaithal scoring 9 and 7 runs respectively.   Arpana of Nagaland claimed 5 wickets giving away only 7 runs, while Muskan claimed 3 giving away 17 runs and Joyshree 2 wickets.   Chasing a modest total, Nagaland scored 49 at the loss of 2 wickets in 11.2 overs.   Muskan scored 25 while Elina 6.   R Yadav and K Kaithal took 1 wicket each for Arunachal Pradesh. CG Trophy—Day-3 J&K Vs Tripura at Dimapur In the ongoing Under-19 Cooch Behar match at NCA Stadium, Sovima between Jammu & Kashmir and Tripura, the J&K team took the lead of 226 runs after being all out for 345 in 134.1 overs in the second innings.   Tripura will bat for their second innings on the fourth day tomorrow at 8:30am.
