Nagaland Govt issues revised lockdown guidelines

Won’t apply to containment zones
Kohima, April 20 (MExN): With the extension of lockdown, along with the relaxation of some activities since April 20, the Nagaland government has issued the consolidated revised guidelines to be implemented throughout the state with “immediate effect” upto May 3.
The Chief Secretary Temjen Toy as the Chairperson, State Executive Committee, issued the revised guidelines for strict implementation across the state.
Violations of lockdown measure would attract penalties and offences under various sections of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and Section 188 of IPC, it added.
However, as per the order of the Home Ministry, the State Government informed that the revised guidelines will not apply at the containment zones.
