
Dimapur, April 11 (MExN): Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha issued a report on law and order and facilitation of essential goods and services across the state as on April 10.
According to the report which was received on Saturday, law and order situation in the state has remained calm and peaceful. The report also stated that there were no restrictions on movement of essential service providers, personnel and workers of manufacturing units of essential commodities or movement of commercial vehicles for distribution and on movement of e- commerce agents. Suitable arrangements have been made for providing food and shelter to migrant workers affected by COVID-19 restrictions, it added.
All the districts in the state have been covered with the supply of essential goods. It also said that all districts have been opening shops on alternate days and was open on Friday except in Wokha and Mokokchung which were closed. Shops for milk were also open in all other districts in the state, except Wokha and Mokokchung, it said.
The report also stated that three relief camps sheltering 363 persons are functioning in Dimapur and more than 2000 were given food grains and dry rations by District Administration and NGOs.
Permits have been issued to commercial vehicles transporting essential commodities.
Retail shops open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and wholesale market from 3:00 am to 8:00, the report stated.
