Protection of senior citizens 

Kohima, April 23 (MExN): The senior citizens who are aged above 60 years and especially those with medical conditions are particularly susceptible to infections by COVID-19. In this connection, all concerned have been requested to observe the advisory prepared by GOI for seniors citizens and their care givers on how to protect them from increased health risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Home delivery of essentials in Tizit

Tizit, April 23 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner Tizit, Pakon Phom has notified that the administration (Hq) Tizit in collaboration with Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission Tizit Block have introduced home delivery of local organic products. Therefore, the public have been informed to place their orders at 9366830485, 8413806777, 8974189373 call or whatsApp between 9 am - 12 noon every Wednesday and Friday. The products will be delivered as per the order to the doorsteps the same day before 1:00 pm.

 

DC Dimapur directs district School Education Dept

Dimapur, April 23 (MExN): DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has directed the School Education Department in the district to resume School Mid Day Meal Scheme with immediate effect and to ensure strict social distancing for parents coming to school for collection of food grains as per government directive. DC further directed principal and headmaster of respective schools to prepare lesson plan and home plan for students and to handover to the parents who come to school to collect food grains so that the studies of students may continue from home.
