Pro-rata cuts of 15% under ‘non-development’

Kohima, April 24 (MExN): As a measure of austerity in view of the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has directed that there shall be pro-rata cuts of 15% under ‘Non- Development’ from the Budget Estimates (BE) of 2020-21 in respect of all departments for the following expenditure items: travel Expenses; Office Expenses; Motor Vehicles; Maintenance. An official order issued by Sentiyanger Imchen, Addl. Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner stated that details of Demand-wise cuts on the above items shall be issued separately. This is issued in pursuance of Cabinet decision conveyed by the Cabinet Secretariat vide their memorandum No. CAB-2/2013 dated April 21.

 

DC Dimapur informs on wholesale medical shops

Dimapur, April 24 (MExN): The wholesale medical shops along GS Road, MP Road and Sosino Market are permitted to open alternate days from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with effect from April 25. DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi in an order informed that only retailer shops with permit/passes issued by the Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) along with NOC from CMO following strict medical protocol prescribed for the containment zone will be allowed to procure medicine/medical equipments from the medical wholesale shops and no individual customers will be allowed. DC mentioned that precautionary measures such as hand sanitizer and hand washing with soap and water for the public as well as for their own staff and mask for shopkeepers and maintaining of 1metre distance to be strictly observed. All the activities will be monitored by the Assistant Drug Controller.
