UNSOLD VEGETABLES FOR PIG FEED: A woman leaving the makeshift market in BOC, Kohima after 12:00 pm with stale vegetables to use as pig fodder. With rules changing frequently in view of the lockdown, trying to keep up with changes on a daily basis has become a big challenge for citizens. Vegetable vendors in the area were seen informing one another that shops will continue to open the next day. “If we are allowed to sell everyday for few hours, there won’t be too much rush,” a vendor tells a volunteer who has asked buyers to maintain social distancing.
