Relief to needy people was extended by Seva Bharati, Mon District in collaboration with District Administration, Mon on April 15 and 16. A total of 210 people including widows, daily wage earners, stranded students and senior citizens living within Mon Town were given food packages consisting of rice, pulse, vegetables and tea leaves. The identification of beneficiaries and distribution of relief was done under the charge of Lucy Y. Elang, In-Charge, Seva Bharati, Mon. Thavaseelan K, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mon also expressed gratitude to Seva Bharati, Nagaland for extending assistance to the people of Mon in this time of crisis. (DIPR Photo)
