Nagaland Zoological Park receives female deer calf

Kohima, April 13 (MExN): Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar, Dimapur received a female deer calf, which was handed over to the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change by the NDPP Northern Angami-II Youth Wing president Vizotuonyü Lhoungu.
Lhoungu reportedly rescued the deer calf from the forest of Dihoma village, Kohima on April 10 and donated it over to Deputy Ranger and in-charge of Blyth’s Tragopan Breeding Centre Kohima, Medolezo Kire. The Deputy Ranger along with staff has handed over the baby deer to NZP Rangapahar and is currently within the safe zone.
