Longleng, April 13 (MExN): The NDPP mourned the demise of B Longphe Phom, Advisor NDPP Longleng Region, on April 13, at District Hospital Longleng after a brief illness. In a condolence message, NDPP President Chingwang Konyak stated that though Longphe’s association with the NDPP party has been brief, “yet his holding key positions in influential organisations like being the Vice President of the Phom People’s Council, Vice Chairman of Longleng Town Council, former President NPP Longleng, and others speaks volume of his calibre and devotion to serve the people as an exemplary leader.” His demise is felt as a great loss for the NDPP party and also for the Naga society in general and people of Longleng in particular, the message stated. NDPP conveyed condolence to bereaved family members.
