NDPP Zbto welcomes efforts to contain COVID-19

The Zunheboto administration has been distributing free rice to the needy and carrying out sanitization drives in the district amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
ZUNHEBOTO, APRIL 11 (MExN): The NDPP Zunheboto unit has conveys its appreciation to the state and the central government for releasing free rice to the vulnerable and the needy under Zunheboto District.
Adequate quantity of rice has been stocked at Zunheboto and for the past few days the district Administration along with the supply department have been dispatching the rice to every village and towns for free distribution, a press release from the NDPP Zunheboto unit informed.
It informed that earlier, free rice along with commodities like dal, potatoes and mustard oil were also distributed to students and non-indigenous people stranded at Zunheboto Town.
The District Administration along with the Fire & Emergency service also undertook a disinfection drive at Zunheboto Town. Trucks carrying essential commodities coming into the Town were also disinfected. The entire town area including various ATM booths were also disinfected by the team. The PHE Department along with Police Department distributed free water service to citizens of the Town, the NDPP informed.
It meanwhile appealed to the District Task Force and the Department & NGOs involved keeping up the good work.
