KOHIMA, OCTOBER 15 (MExN): Seeking clarification on the delay of their scholarships, the Nagaland University Student Union (NUSU), Kohima Campus along with students from the MA (3rd Semester) and the 2016-17 passed out students batch today staged a gathering outside the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education. It was reported that the NUSU officials held a meeting with the Department.
The NUSU President clarified that the group came with no intention of any agitation but during the meeting with the department officials some students started shouting slogans demanding their scholarship, which eventually alerted the District Police which arrived with its forces and barricades.
No untoward incident was reported.
